Manual QA (Advanced Management)

Thw Quality Assurance Engineer will be part of our R&D center in Bulgaria, Sofia, working on innovative technologies for the new company’s product Acronis Cyber Protect. This position is mainly responsible for manual testing. This involves working collaboratively with all teams including RnD departments based in other offices.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

• Be involved in developing test design of user scenarios, test cases and checklists, preparing test environments, execution of manual functional testing, reporting and processing defects.
• Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
• Understanding and analyzing the product requirements and communicate with product management teams.
• Interacting with automation team: preparing test analytics for automation scenarios.
• Analyzing customers’ issues and investigate their root causes and participate in technical discussions with RnD team.

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)  

• At least 3 years of previous experience as a QA Engineer
• Knowledge of the Windows, Linux, macOS, including system preferences, terminal commands. A solid understanding of how operating systems work overall.
• Experience with testing desktop applications and web applicationsProficient with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
• Good knowledge of test methodology, understanding of software development life-cycle.
• Experience in test-cases development and reporting.
• Familiar with Virtualization systems
• Understanding of basic concepts of computer architecture, data structure and IT security
• Analytical mindset, ability to solve complex logical puzzles
• Detail oriented, efficient and organized.
• Knowledge of basic programming/scripting principles would be an additional advantage
•  Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
