As a Solutions Engineer in Acronis, you will work closely with the Sales Team to execute pre and post sales activities that will drive Service Provider acquisition and growth within the region assigned. The Solutions Engineer must drive adoption of Acronis’ products and solutions in customer and partner settings by articulating the strengths of Acronis’ solutions, understanding the requirements and match the solutions to deliver the wins.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
<ul>
<li>Deliver presentations to customers, partners on Acronis’ technology and solutions.</li>
<li>Facilitate and manage customer evaluations, and proof of concept activities for Acronis’ solutions.</li>
<li>Position compelling solutions targeted at solving the customer’s business problems, over and above specific technical requirements, and acting as technical advisor to the customer.</li>
<li>Conduct hands-on demonstrations and knowledge transfer of Acronis’ solutions to cloud partners.</li>
<li>Support existing channel and cloud partners on technical queries.</li>
<li>Provide customer and market input to Product Management, Engineering, Customer Service, and other pertinent groups within Acronis.</li>
<li>Maintain knowledge on major industry developments; be capable of handling customer inquiries on these matters</li>

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE &amp; QUALIFICATIONS)
<ul>
<li>BS in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent experience</li>
<li>1 or more years’ experience as a PreSales/Sales Engineer or a similar customer facing IT technical role</li>
<li>Ability to translate customers business requirements into technical solutions which deliver genuine benefits back to the business.</li>
<li>Presentation skills (critical)</li>
<li>Must be a good listener and have the ability to resolve problems.</li>
<li>Must be a confident and assertive professional, acting as an independent but also capable of working within a team.</li>
<li>Must be an articulate, able to effectively discuss and negotiate around technical issues.</li>
<li>Self-motivated, customer oriented, resourceful and enthusiastic.</li>
</ul>
Technical Knowledge should include at least 2 of the following:
<ul>
<li>Good understanding of IT security technologies and software.</li>
<li>Good working knowledge of Virtualization and Cloud technologies.</li>
<li>Understanding of IT storage software and computing architectures, including experience in networks, operating systems and applications.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems.</li>
<li>Knowledge of SaaS and IaaS based technologies: iMicrosoft o365 and Azure, Google Gsuite, Amazon AWS, etc.</li>

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE &amp; QUALIFICATIONS)
<ul>
<li>3+ years of experience in delivering  quality presales Support or similar customer facing technical role.</li>
<li>Presentation and public speaking experience and proficiency.</li>
<li>Good understand and knowledge on Endpoint Security, Email Security and/or Patch Management, Data Loss Prevention.</li>
<li>Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and applications.</li>
</ul>
Desirable experience:
<ul>
<li>Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, Google, AWS services will be an advantage.</li>
<li>Exposure to RMM/PSA platforms, Hosting platforms will be an advantage.</li>

Solutions Engineer

In this role you will be a Single Point of Contact for Acronis partners and end customers, driving and advocating initiatives that deliver higher stability, better partner/customer satisfaction, all while driving Monthly Recurring Revenue goals. The role requires ability for occasionally travel, including internationally. 
WHAT YOU'LL DO
<ul>
<li>Develop responses to RFIs and RFPs, technical &amp; commercial proposals to prospective customers’ requirements.</li>
<li>Develop PSA and SOW in collaboration with Sales and Legal teams.</li>
<li>Develop project plan in scope of implementation, consulting and integration projects with end customers, manage project work.</li>
<li>Work with Datacenter Operations, R&amp;D, Support, and other departments to clear technical roadblocks customer faces at implementation and post implementation stages.</li>
<li>Build and maintain current functional and technical knowledge of the entire Acronis product line, provide consultations to customer engaging experts from other Acronis teams as required.</li>
<li>Review customer’s implementation and integration plans and make recommendations in line with best practices.</li>
<li>Present new product functionality, engage customer in evaluation of new product releases.</li>
<li>Keep track of customer run rates, develop remediation plan in case of negative dynamics.</li>
<li>Work with R&amp;D, Datacenter Operations, Support, Product, and other departments prioritizing and keeping track of customer’s incidents and feature requests.</li>
<li>Update customer on regular basis about progress of work on support cases, incidents, and features request.</li>
<li>Manage process escalations, develop Acronis internal and customer facing executive summaries, develop root cause analysis reports.</li>
<li>Provide feedback to Acronis Product Management teams based on customer requirements;</li>
<li>Conduct quarterly review meeting providing update on run rates, key projects, and planned activities for the next period.</li>
<li>Manage internal organization development projects, ensure consistent execution and reporting.</li>
</ul>
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE &amp; QUALIFICATIONS)
<ul>
<li>3+ years of technical hands-on experience in 3 or more of the following areas – SaaS, IaaS, storages, hypervisors, backup, disaster recovery, RestAPI, IP network design/administration, DC/infrastructure design/operations, DBs administration, Python scripting, dashboards/reports, server administration.</li>
<li>3+ years in Project Manager or Technical Account Manager role in a software or systems integration company.</li>
<li>Security certification: CISSP, CompTIA Security+, etc.</li>
<li>Excellent communications, interpersonal, and presentation skills.</li>
<li>Excellent business analysis, project, risk, and relationship management skills.</li>
<li>Ability to interact and communicate with multiple stakeholders, including C-level.</li>
<li>Fluent written and spoken English language.</li>
