The Opportunity:
- We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Data & Analytics team within One Digital Consulting. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data science to deliver impactful insights and solutions for a variety of clients. You will work on challenging projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and drive data-driven decision-making.
Day to day you will:
- Work with large and complex datasets to solve a variety of challenging problems using advanced analytical and statistical approaches.
- Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models to address business challenges.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data science solutions.
- Build and maintain robust pipelines for data processing and model deployment.
- Mentor junior data scientists, providing guidance on technical approaches and career development.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What you’ll bring:
- 3-5 years of experience in data science, preferably with a consulting background.
- In-depth knowledge of statistical and machine learning models and their practical applications.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with the ability to deliver production-ready code in well-tested CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
- Experience with end-to-end model development, including deployment and maintenance.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to tackle loosely defined problems and present solutions clearly.
- Experience mentoring junior data scientists to help them succeed.
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
