Day to day you will:
- Lead and advise on climate-related financial analysis, scenario modelling, and financial quantification.
- Embed sustainability into business operations through its integration in financial planning and decision making process.
- Deliver high-quality advisory services on climate adaptation, resilience, and financial disclosure (NZ CS, TCFD, ISSB, IFRS S1 & S2).
- Drive business development and build strategic relationships with senior stakeholders across industries.
- Collaborate globally with KPMG experts to craft innovative solutions and grow our Sustainable Value Creation offerings.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering expertise and excellence across projects.
What you'll bring to the team:
- Expertise in financial planning and analysis, capital allocation, and/or value creation.
- Strong knowledge of climate-related financial disclosure frameworks (NZ CS, TCFD, ISSB, IFRS S1 & S2) and the intersect with climate change scenarios, transition planning, and risk management).
- 5+ years’ experience in advisory roles—Big 4 or management consulting experience is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for leading complex, multidisciplinary projects.
