You will work with experienced professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality services and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.<h3>The opportunity: </h3><ul><ul><li>We are looking for a<b> Senior Advisor </b>to support our Financial Crime team </li><li>This role requires a blend of analytical and investigative skills built on compliance/process/control fundamentals and will see you at times being asked to advise on complex and sometimes time sensitive matters.</li><li>You'll be exposed to an exciting variety of engagements across financial crime from both compliance reviews (including audits), to involvement in financial crime transformation programmes (such as designing improvements to operating models).</li><li>As well as getting the chance to collaborate with different teams across our Consulting division and at times the global KPMG network.</li><li>You will have the opportunity to broaden your expertise through a range of interesting projects and with a wide variety of clients.</li></ul></ul><h3>Day to day you will:</h3><ul><ul><li>Utilise your knowledge of the financial crime regulatory environment to support our clients</li><li>Interpret and analyse policies, procedures and controls across the financial crime domains</li><li>Prepare high quality reports and documents used by Management, Boards, and regulators in New Zealand and Overseas</li><li>Monitor new regulatory and industry developments to deliver targeted messages relevant to our clients</li><li>Contribute to financial services proposals to help ensure that the risk and compliance aspects are covered</li><li>Identify and proactively respond to new business opportunities including cross-functional opportunities to provide added value to clients</li><li>Build the reputation of KPMG through the quality of your work, expertise and judgement as well as innovative approaches</li><li>Work as part of a close-knit, high energy team, which thrives on the variety of work</li></ul></ul><h3>What you'll bring to our team:</h3><ul><ul><li>Consulting experience and/or financial services sector experience is preferred</li><li>Anti-money laundering compliance experience is essential (preferably from New Zealand), knowledge of other areas of financial crime (i.e. sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, fraud prevention and detection, CRS/FACTA) would be helpful.</li><li>An analytical mindset, attention to detail and an ability to challenge data, information and explanations provided</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to work at pace whilst delivering pragmatic and high quality outcomes</li><li>Strong relationship building skills with clients and with the KPMG team </li><li>Positive and flexible attitude and happy to embrace new challenges and opportunities </li></ul></ul><i>Recruitment Agencies: The recruitment for this role is being managed directly by the KPMG Talent Acquisition team.
