Job SummaryThe Senior Vice President, Global Head of AI Business Development is a key leadership role responsible for driving the strategic growth of the organization by identifying, developing, and managing high-impact partnerships, alliances, and business opportunities in the AI industry. This individual will play a critical role in shaping and executing the company’s global business strategy to maximize market penetration, revenue growth, and competitive advantage in the rapidly evolving AI landscape. Job Responsibilities include:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global business development strategy for AI solutions and services.
- Identify emerging market trends, competitive dynamics, and new business opportunities in AI to guide strategic planning.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align business development initiatives with organizational goals and vision.
Partnership Development:
- Build and manage strategic alliances with key stakeholders, including technology partners, enterprise clients, research institutions, and government agencies.
- Lead negotiations for partnerships, joint ventures, and licensing agreements to accelerate growth and innovation.
- Cultivate relationships with C-suite executives and decision-makers across industries.
Revenue Growth:
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on high-value opportunities in global markets.
- Oversee the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for AI products and services.
- Monitor sales pipeline and ensure consistent achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
Team Management:
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing global business development team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and results-oriented performance.
- Establish clear performance metrics and accountability frameworks for the team.
Industry Leadership and Advocacy:
- Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and forums to establish thought leadership in AI.
- Advocate for the adoption of ethical AI practices and promote the organization’s contributions to the AI ecosystem.
- Stay abreast of regulatory developments and compliance requirements in the AI industry.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategy roles, with a focus on technology or AI.
- Minimum of 5 years focused on AI solutions or related technologies
- Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and managing complex global partnerships.
- Deep understanding of AI technologies, trends, and applications across industries.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and manage cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen to assess market opportunities and ROI.
- Experience working in startups, Fortune 500 companies, or high-growth technology firms.
- Familiarity with global markets, cultural nuances, and international business practices.
- Knowledge of cloud computing, machine learning, and emerging AI technologies.
