To be considered for this role, please upload a resume/CV in English.We are looking for a fluent bilingual Corporate Counsel to join our Legal team in Mexico.Rackspace Technology is looking for an experienced, talented and motivated Corporate Counsel in Mexico City, to provide commercial transactions support to the global (Americas, EMEA & APAC) supply chain business unit. This position will report into the Global Legal Team based in the US, and will work closely with the supply chain and other internal client business units across all regions. This role will give the successful candidate an opportunity to join a collaborative and dynamic team, working on some of Rackspace Technology’s most critical supply chain relationships and strategic commercial arrangements across the globe, driving and enabling Rackspace Technology’s multi-billion dollar technology business.
Key Accountabilities
- Acting as a legal business partner and valued legal advisor to the global supply chain business unit, and to their client business units.
- Structuring, drafting and revising standard supply chain policy and templates for legal best practices, providing strategic legal guidance and training to the global supply chain business unit, and developing and improving legal operations for supply chain contracting including industry-leading self-service legal resources.
- Providing legal account management and advice in relation to Rackspace Technology’s key business partnerships within the supply chain area.
- Leading legal review and negotiation of complex supply chain contracts.
- Advising on supply chain legal compliance and governance (including privacy/data protection, export control, and anti-corruption), working closely with the Global Compliance team and internal business units.
- Assisting with pre-litigation disputes, and working with the Global Litigation team in relation to litigation, in the supply chain area.
- Providing support, due diligence, and integration advice for M&A transactions involving supply chain issues.
Key Requirements
- JD degree (or international equivalent law degree), excellent academic background, and an active license to practice law in Mexico.
- 3-7 years’ relevant post qualification legal experience, and in-house experience preferred (preferably within a similarly sized global technology company).
- Background and experience in all matters referred to in the Key Accountabilities section.
- Proactive and effective communicator with clients and colleagues, including excellent listening skills.
- Proven team player and collaborator, with the ability to work with colleagues to deliver exceptional results.

- Familiarity with and passion for technology and technology-related issues.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, technology driven environment.
- Fluency in written and verbal Spanish and English.
