Job Description
Position Overview:The Senior Corporate IT Manager is responsible for leading the company’s technology strategy, overseeing the internal IT infrastructure and managing internal IT operations, including help desk services. This role involves ensuring IT systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with business goals while managing a high-performing IT team. The Senior Corporate IT Manager will also ensure compliance with industry regulations and foster continuous improvement and innovation within the IT department.
Roles and Responsibilities:1. IT Strategy and LeadershipDevelop and implement the company’s IT strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, promoting collaboration, innovation, and professional development.Communicate IT initiatives, metrics, and challenges to the executive team and other departments.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and forward-thinking within the IT department.
2. Internal IT OperationsOversee day-to-day internal IT operations, including help desk services, ensuring timely support for staff and resolving technical issues efficiently.Manage and improve the help desk system to ensure high levels of customer service and user satisfaction.Implement and monitor internal IT policies and procedures to maintain operational efficiency.Ensure the IT team provides effective troubleshooting and technical support across all company departments.
3. Infrastructure and Technology ManagementOversee the management and maintenance of the corporate IT infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and reliable.Ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of the company’s networks, systems, and cloud services.Lead the evaluation and implementation of new technologies to meet the company’s evolving needs.Monitor and optimize IT systems and infrastructure performance, identifying areas for improvement.
4. Project and Budget ManagementLead IT project planning and execution, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.Manage the IT budget, making strategic decisions on technology investments and cost-effective solutions.Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure technology initiatives align with business needs and goals.5. Continuous Improvement and Innovation:Drive continuous improvement within the IT department by evaluating current systems and processes.Encourage innovation and explore new technologies to enhance IT services and operational efficiency.Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive future IT improvements.
Requirements
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Proven experience in managing internal IT operations, including helpdesk services.Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, system administration, network management, and cloud services.Experience developing and executing IT strategies aligned with corporate objectives.Leadership skills with a track record of managing and mentoring IT teams.Knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and compliance (e.g., ISO, GDPR).Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to manage IT projects on time and within budget.Strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to technology.Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
