Cyber Security Operations Specialist (SVP)
Citi Cyber Security Fusion Centre (CSFC) is globally positioned to act as an information and crisis response hub in its mission to strengthen Citi's resilience to cyber-attacks. CSFC optimizes Citi's velocity of response, breaks down silos across reporting structures, and creates a unified channel of communications to senior leaders. CSFC serves as the global and cross-business coordinating entity, disrupting threat actors, reducing vulnerabilities and risk, and minimizing impact from cyber-attacks.
A new role has been created for a Cyber Security Operations Specialist (SVP). This role is responsible for end-to-end leadership and coordination for cyber events, incidents, and critical vulnerabilities, while maintaining a holistic understanding of the threat landscape. The Cyber Security Operations Specialist (SVP) proactively performs review of cyber risk indicators from operations lenses and considers trends that are noteworthy; responsively provide end-to-end documentation and coordination of potentially impacting events and incidents of high severities.
The Cyber Security Operations Specialist (SVP) in Singapore will lead all aspects of CSFC operations in the Singapore time zone, partnering with operations teams across the globe to provide global coverage.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Proactively drive and lead firm-wide effort to prevent, monitor and respond to potential threats, cyber-attacks, and vulnerabilities.
- Lead coordination during cyber events and incidents.
- Analyze and present risk assessments and outcomes to leadership, regulatory bodies, and business.
- Execute under crisis conditions regardless of the audience's seniority and with a keen sense of urgency and mission.
- Identify requirements and design solutions to meet business needs and implement operational process improvements.
- Build effective relationships with key stakeholders who own and support Citi’s infrastructure, applications, processes, and operations.
- Maintain data sources feeding the log monitoring system, develop and maintain detection and alerting rules.
- Respond to user incident reports and evaluates the type and severity of security events.
- Execute initial triage of incidents to rule out false positives.
- Identify recurring security issues and risks and develops mitigation plans and recommends process improvements.
- Interpret and apply security policies and procedures.
- Establish escalation processes for security incidents and develops contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures.
Desired attributes:
- More than 10 years’ relevant experience, with proven ability to manage conflict, provide leadership, and make decisions.
- Demonstrated experience transforming, building, and leading technical teams.
- Expert knowledge of incident management, vulnerability management or risk management.
- Technical background in security technologies and network architectures.
- Ability to lead executive briefs on technical risks and issues to business leaders.
- Demonstrated experience working with senior leadership on sensitive projects that required the utmost discretion and maintaining strict confidentiality on all data, records, and tasks as required.
- Possession of industry certifications, including, but not limited to, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
- Excellent attention to details.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards as they relate to information security management.
- Demonstrated experience working and engaging with regulatory bodies.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Studies or equivalent.
- Master’s degree preferred.
