<h3>Day to Day you will:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Provide financial crime insights to our clients and colleagues based on local and global expertise and trends within the market.</li>
<li>Interpret and analyse, policies, procedures and controls to identify gaps or opportunities for improvement as well as providing creditable and pragmatic advice on how these can be addressed</li>
<li>Prepare high quality reports and documents used by Management, Boards, legal advisors and sometimes in legal proceedings</li>
<li>Monitor new regulatory and industry developments to deliver targeted messages relevant to our clients</li>
<li>Identify and proactively respond to new business opportunities including cross-functional opportunities to provide added value to clients</li>
<li>Build the reputation of KPMG through the quality of your work, expertise and judgement as well as innovative approaches</li>
</ul>
<h3>What you'll bring to the team:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Consulting experience either in New Zealand or overseas</li>
<li>More than 6 years of professional work experience, preferably within the financial services sector as a consultant, financial crime data or business analyst, a fraud or financial crime operations team or related role.</li>
<li>At least 3 years experience in leading or managing teams.</li>
<li>Relevant tertiary qualification. </li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Experience in understanding New Zealand’s anti-money laundering and countering financing of terrorism legislation (but if you don’t have strong experience in this, we’re keen on understanding what exposure you have and how you will learn).</li>
