We are seeking a Security Operation Center (SOC) Analyst to join our Cybersecurity team.
The SOC Analyst will be responsible for day-to-day security threat monitoring, analysis, and response. You will manage security incidents and review security alerts, determine if the security events are false positives, true positive, or false negatives and work with incident responder’s on known or suspected security threats. The Security Analyst will work on threat intelligence gathering and integration, forensics, and incident response that adhere to best practices and recognized control frameworks.
Responsibilities:

As a Senior Security Engineer at Signifyd you will work to control and improve security outcomes across the company. You will operate at the front line of risk, identifying vulnerabilities and threats, and collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to implement defenses.
As a core member of our security team, you will have latitude to further define and mature our appsec capabilities. You will work directly with software developers as the voice of security, where you will guide our security architecture and ensure consistent and effective mediation of risks.
You will also own one or more foundational security projects, and work with project managers and engineers to successfully execute on the software specifications you help develop.
Finally, you will work to increase our visibility into data, infrastructure, entitlements and logs; you will develop and improve detections for things that matter within our SIEM and other systems, and make sure our infrastructure is always-on and customer data stays secure.

We're looking for a Director, SecOps to lead and manage a growing team and to take Slices’s security operations to the next level. The mission of Security Operations is to proactively detect, respond to, simulate, and identify breach attempts and threat actors.
Reporting to the VP, Security and Platform Engineering, this role will be responsible for leading a team of security professionals to implement proactive security measures and react to security issues. They will build and own solutions to identify security issues, respond to threats, coordinate security incident response processes with the business, and continuously test our controls. You will establish metrics that demonstrate continuous improvements of the Security Operations capabilities and execute on your proposed strategy for improvements. This is a technical leadership role requiring both high level strategy and the ability to be hands on. 
What you'll do:

<li>Improve the company's ability to identify, detect, and response to threats by leading new technology selection, configuration, internal product development, obtaining-buy-in, and implementations with a heavy emphasis on automation</li>
<li>Establish a set of measurable metrics that reflect the baseline of all security operations functions and drive for improvements</li>
<li>Work with Compliance and other teams to implement and enforce security policies and procedures </li>

Essential Criteria

<li>Extensive experience in Information Security and at least 5 years building and leading security teams with direct technical responsibility at either a best-in-class enterprise or high growth startup. </li>

<li>Solid experience with Linux, AWS, intrusion detection systems, network security, SIEM tools, vulnerability management and endpoint protection. </li>
<li>Experience building processes that provide evidence in support of audits. </li>
<li>Proven track record of building and improving security operations capabilities</li>

Desirable Criteria:
