Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a System Security Manager to oversee security compliance and processes on the TO, as well as direct contractor Information System Security Officer (ISSO). The System Security Manager shall be the primary liaison with the Government’s security lead and ensure that critical security functions such as COOP, certificate renewals, and related tasks are completed successfully and on-schedule. The System Security Manager shall ensure that security risks and findings are appropriately documented. The System Security Manager shall proactively provide potential solutions to remediate issues while allowing systems to remain operational and compliant in a mission-first environment.
Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>8+ years of relevant experience</li>
<li>5+ years of experience managing IT security teams</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in Cyber Security Assessment Management</li>
<li>4+ years of experience in Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs), and IT Contingency Planning (CP)</li>
<li>Possesses an active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Security Manager (CISSM) certification</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or related discipline.</li>
<li>US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance</li>
</ul>
Desired Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Experience defining strategic governance for security management, defining quality metrics, and implementing repeatable processes for a portfolio of applications</li>
<li>Five years of experience managing IT security teams in a government environment similar to the DEA TC organization</li>
<li>Knowledge of DEA system security requirements</li>
</ul>

Although the position is largely remote, some work in an Arlington, Va., SCIF is required.
