Senior Communications Specialist, EMEA

We are looking for a Senior Communications Specialist to join our mission to create a #CyberFit future and protect all data, applications, and systems across any environment.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Communications Specialist, in EMEA to manage our PR activities in EMEA. This is a multi-disciplined role that would encompass public relations and support our social media and analyst relations activity in EMEA. The Senior Communications Specialist will also be part of the broader team and collaborate across our Corporate Communications teams such as Foundation, Events, and Sports Marketing. This role will be reporting under the VP of Communication, Events, and Foundation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

•  Assist in the development of marketing and executive communications plan including strategy, goals, budget, and tactics
• Coordinate all public relations activities for EMEA, with growth for global scope, including managing media inquiries and interview requests, creation of content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations, etc.
• Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results quarterly
• Contribute to media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online
• Direct social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media
• Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry leaders
• Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an ongoing basis
• Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5+ years’ experience in a communications role, with an agency or B2B tech brand
• Solid understanding/interest in the cybersecurity industry. Security PR experience is a strong plus
• Experience managing a PR agency relationship and company social media
• Experience working in a fast-paced, hyper-growth, global company
• Strong background in media relationships including press release writing, project management, and coordination of media activities
• Media relations/database
• Able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently, capable of building strong working relationships across all departments of the org both in-person and virtually
• Self-motivation with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Strong internal customer focus with a desire to learn all aspects of the business
• Strong knowledge of English and German language is a must
