Mission Summary:
Motional’s Cybersecurity team works across the business to produce a secure product. We’re looking for a software engineer specialized in cybersecurity to partner with developers to help design, implement, and test secure solutions. In particular, in this role you will join projects building important security-critical software components necessary to make a self-driving vehicle. These components may cover topics within perception, planning, controls, infrastructure, mapping, etc., where you will help with the hands on work to carry out our Autonomous Vehicle Cybersecurity Development Lifecycle. This is a great way to work directly on software that makes a vehicle drive itself while making meaningful cybersecurity contributions to our product. We are open to hiring an experienced engineer enthusiastic about cross-training in software security.
The Motional Las Vegas office is located less than 10 miles from the Las Vegas strip at 730 E Pilot Road, the Las Vegas office is home to one of the largest fleets of self-driving vehicles. The city’s grid system of roads and being one of America’s “smart cities” allows for extensive research and development testing.
What You'll Be Doing: 
<ul>
<li>Work closely with the AV Stack Teams to develop secure software for autonomous driving systems in compliance with a Security Development Lifecycle.</li>
<li>Develop new security features to prevent or mitigate attacks on AV Stack, implement and promote new quality practices, collaborate with experts to implement AV Stack algorithms using modern software engineering practices.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other Cybersecurity team members to design and develop secure software for the next generation autonomous driving platforms.</li>
<li>Work in a fast-paced work environment while communicating with employees in other locations</li>
</ul>
What we're looking for:
<ul>
<li>BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Equivalent Knowledge and Work Experience.</li>
<li>5+ years professional experience building software for robotics, AI, cyber-physical systems, or advanced engineering projects.</li>
<li>Strong programming skills in C++, experience with Python.</li>
<li>Experience with Linux work environment, software, and toolchains.</li>
<li>Experience with programming for multi-threaded systems.</li>
<li>Experience with collecting requirements, creating software designs, and developing efficient implementations</li>
</ul>

<li>Safety certification (e.g. ISO 26262, IEC 61508, EN 5012X, DO-178B/C, etc.)</li>

Ridgeline is on the hunt for an experienced Senior Staff Application Security Engineer to help us build out our high trust software platforms.  As a Senior Staff Application Security Engineer at Ridgeline, you will be directly responsible for ensuring security across Ridgeline’s application platforms and product lines.  
This role involves partnering with DevOps, Engineering, and Development teams to architect, develop, and implement secure solutions from the ground up. You will own, drive, and teach application security best practices, methodologies, and ensure that  our application security strategy meets or exceeds industry standards.  You have a strong passion for all things application security and strive to show real impact through effective automation and processes.  You are an expert at owning your craft, but also understand success comes through empathy and teamwork.

<li>In-depth understanding of application-level vulnerabilities, common attack vectors, and how to resolve them at scale</li>
<li>Strong development experience in at least one high-level programming language, Python experience preferred</li>

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As the VP, Cybersecurity and IT, you are responsible for creating and managing a global, enterprise-wide security program to ensure that our information assets are protected from all foreseeable threats. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will create and implement the security strategy, policies, and operating frameworks required for application, infrastructure, compliance, and all product offerings. You will lead, build, and manage a talented security and IT team, foster our security vision, develop the roadmap to achieve it, and mentor the team to deliver on the strategy.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

YOUR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
This position requires 12 years of experience leading security and IT teams focused on all aspects of cybersecurity, including identity management, security engineering, software security, GRC, and security operations. Three years in a senior leadership role at a global business, including financial services and blockchain technology experience. Five years of experience in securing systems running on public cloud infrastructures. You possess professional certifications CISSP, CISM, CCP, CIPP, CASP+, CCSP and/or other designations. This position also requires you to have a deep understanding of best practices relating to Information Security and Risk Management, including standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 22237, SOC2/SOC3, Cyber Essentials, and CCSS (Cryptocurrency Security Standard).
