The Architecture Group Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Primarily affects a sub-function. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.Responsibilities:

  • Manages multiple architectural teams or an architecture functional area (depending on size of business).
  • Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations and other personnel actions.
  • Develops the architectural strategy for a group (portfolio) of IT systems.
  • Develops and recommends solutions that conform to enterprise standards.
  • Develops technological and business application portfolio road maps, based on emerging technologies and market trends/direction.
  • Responsible for all technical directions and decisions based on technical expertise, experience, vision and market directions.
  • Supports the business/clients in evaluating and articulating the technical benefits of a solution to stakeholders.
  • Analyzes and evaluates strategic technologies offered by vendors.
  • Exhibits sound understanding of theories and practices in architecture and multiple related areas.
  • Has in depth understanding of how architecture integrates within technology and has commercial awareness.
  • Shares responsibility for budget, policy formulation and planning.
  • Requires evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated or novel situations; uses multiple sources of information.
  • Impacts engineering through responsibility for planning, finances/ budget, end results and setting of policies.
  • Influences and negotiates with senior leaders (across functions); may communicate and negotiate with external parties.
  • Performs other job duties and functions as assigned
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Senior Business Group Manager Cyber Security is a  global senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of Global Markets Low Latency Architecture and Engineering Connectivity team or department in an effort to Manage global team of Infrastructure Security Senior Managers to design, Architect and perform Global Markets Low Latency Architecture and Engineering Connectivity secure network connectivity solutions by strategically aligning  these functions to make sure Citi businesses connectivity is in compliance with Citi Information Security Standards and Information Security Policies. Senior Business Group Manager Cyber Security accomplishes results through the management of professional team(s) and department(s). Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Contributes to standards around which others will operate. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince cross functional senior executives and engineers, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers and business partners. Has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of end results of an area. Manage responsibility for planning, budgeting and policy formulation within area of expertise. Involved in short-term planning resource planning. Full senior management responsibility of a global Architecture and Engineering Connectivity team, which may include management of people across North America, EMEA & Asia, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations and may include budget approval. Senior Business Group Manager Cyber Security responsibilities include managing  IT Network Security Projects for ICG Global Markets Business. Technical work includes New E-Trading Infrastructure Builds Projects related to Data Networking (Cisco & Juniper Routers/Switches & Network Security (Checkpoint, Juniper & Palo Alto Firewalls), On-Boarding new Citigroup clients on our existing and new Equities, FX, Rates, Trading infrastructure platforms in  North America, Asia-Pacific, Europe Middle East & Africa & Latin America, Business to Business, users and or Servers and Applications Migrations to provide Architecture and Engineering solutions on all Network & Firewalls Connectivity solutions for Global Markets Business.

As a Senior Business Group Manager Cyber Security, job responsibilities will include but not limited to:

•    Senior Business Group Manager of a large complex Global Markets Low Latency Architecture and Engineering Connectivity team, overseeing resources, budget, policy formation and short to medium term planning.•    Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.•    Align business strategies and goals with technology initiatives in Global Markets business functions.•    Manage and validate deliverables of all Global Markets Architecture and Engineering Connectivity Technology Information Security (IS) programs, ensuring closure per agreed timelines and goals.•    Perform Senior Architecture and Engineering Advisory Activities on Secure network connectivity architect engineering solutions and ensure Information Security Officer (ISO) advisory services are performed•    Conduct cost-benefit analysis to justify Business investment, and build the Global Markets Low Latency Architecture and Engineering Connectivity team by promoting partnerships, and advocating Information Security Business Risks & Controls Program Management.•    Partner with Global Information Security Officers and Global Information Security Program Managers to improve processes and reduce risk to Citigroup’s Global Markets Business. •    Ensure risks are identified, assessed, mitigated and controlled, and assist Regional Managers in NAM, APAC & EMEA Global Markets Low Latency Architecture and Engineering Connectivity team.•    Ensure Control Preparedness and control effectiveness, as part of the Audit preparedness exercise, ensuring Global Markets Infrastructure Information Security Risk & Controls management programs are operational.•    Manage, report and track on major initiatives and projects to executive management.•    Manage and document all major migration projects involving which include deadlines, deliverables, progression, budget and project planning for the team and manage work group meetings, including preparing the meeting agenda and minutes.•    Leadership on  Global Markets Low Latency Architecture and Engineering Connectivity Programs worldwide.•    Provide Information Security Risk & Controls  management oversight and guidance to Citi businesses requiring Third party connectivity as it relates to Citi Information Security Standards and Information Security Policies.•    Lead the interaction with various technology teams (Examples include: Network, Proxy Firewall, Remote Access, VMware, and others) along with the Information Security Officers throughout the company. Facilitate cross-functional solutions as it relates to Third party connectivity aligning with Citigroup Information Security Standards. Assist in the development of governance standards for various network access products which include but are not limited to RAS, B2B, Firewall, Proxy, SEC ACL, Illumio, and VMWare for 3rd Party Access. •    Establish strong working relationships with Application Development, Information Security, Continuity of Business, as well as other Business/Operations/Infrastructure Risk Management teams•    Provide senior management functions to application owners/management team to ensure Risk and Control issues and initiatives are addressed timely.•    Reviews escalations of dashboard deviations (e.g. End of Vendor Support, Production Access Control, FID management, etc after evaluating preliminary assessments. Works with SMEs of various Technology related processes to create documents for Senior Technology Managers focused on audit and regulatory readiness. 

Qualifications :-

•    Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Systems  - Must Have•    Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) – Nice to Have•    Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) – Must Have•    Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) – Must Have•    Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) – Must Have•    10-15 years of extensive Data Networking & Network Security Experience with Cisco Routers & Switches, Checkpoint Firewalls, Juniper Networks Firewalls, Palo Alto Network Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, Linux and Windows systems. – Must Have•    Enjoy learning new technologies, applications and systems. – Nice to Have•    An enthusiastic self-starter with a commitment to learning, customer empathy and team communication.•    Experience at a Global Bank or Global Financial institution preferred.
