The Information Security Analyst position will be based in Little Rock, Arkansas, working on premises there, but reporting back to the EFT Segment Security Officer in Budapest Hungary. The position is part of the Euronet Worldwide EFT Information Security Team. The Team is responsible for maintaining the Logical Security Infrastructure of the Company which is used to secure the Electronic Transactions, Services and Solutions provided to Internal Users and External Customers. The position will work with the Tools and Technologies used by the Company for securing the infrastructure, as well as gain deep knowledge on the Information Security Standards for the Company to be able to conduct its business in a secure manner.Responsibilities:<ul> <li>Manage and control Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS) on both a Host and on a Network Level</li> <li>Manage and control the Security Information and Event Management System of the Company</li> <li>Manage and control the Anti-Malware Infrastructure of the Company</li> <li>Manage and control the ATM Security Infrastructure of the Company</li> <li>Suggest mitigation strategies and solutions for the findings of the Vulnerability Management Program of the Company</li> <li>Play a major role in designing Secure solutions for the Network &amp; Systems Infrastructure</li> <li>Create Rules and Alerts to identify, mitigate and/or be notified about 0-Day Exploits &amp; Threats</li> <li>Work with External Consultants on independent Security Audits</li> </ul>Requirements<ul> <li>University Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field is a must</li> <li>At least 6 months (Internship) and no more than 1 year of IT Security experience in a multinational or diverse Organization is a must</li> <li>Postgraduate Degree (MSc) in Information Security a plus</li> <li>At least 6 months (Internship) of experience in the use of Tools and Techniques for Host-Based or Network-Based Intrusion and Detection or Prevention, or, Virus Detection, or, developing of Incident Response Programs, in a Microsoft based environment is not a must but will be considered as an asset.</li> <li>CEH, MCSE, CCNA, Network+, Security+, SSCP or relevant Certifications are not a must but will be considered as an asset.</li> <li>IBM Power, iSeries or AS/400 experience will be considered a plus.</li> </ul>Competencies &amp; Characteristics:<ul> <li>Flexibility and Reliability</li> <li>Strong Analytical &amp; Critical thinking skills</li> <li>Strong Planning and Time-Management skills</li> <li>Ability to work within/with Geographically &amp; Cultural diversified Teams</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure</li> <li>Dedication and Commitment</li> <li>Ability to take Initiative</li> <li>Strong Communication Skills</li> <li>Willing to learn</li> <li>Team Player</li> </ul>BenefitsAn opportunity to work at a growing and technology focused company. We primarily leverage AWS for our infrastructure, but we may expand into new and different areas within or across multiple cloud platforms as needed. The ideal candidate will have an excellent level of technical expertise in a broad spectrum of AWS offerings and highly developed systems architecture and security-related credentials.This role is high visibility and very important to us. You will also...- Contribute to the company's ongoing SOC2 compliance objectives.- Be responsible for the security architecture within AWS to protect and prepare for resiliency and scalability. - Conduct scans and penetration testing to find vulnerabilities and help fix any security-related issues within the infrastructure and the applications.- Foresee and resolve possible security issues that could arise in the future.- Manage security-related incidents from recognition, root cause analysis through to mitigation and a permanent resolution.- Develop and install new security products and procedures. - Communicate daily with the Infrastructure and Engineering team and are equally comfortable presenting to a non-technical audience.- Take ownership of security-related considerations of the infrastructure footprint. You’ve worked with internal teams to help install, maintain, and improve security products and procedures.Monitor for Security BreachesYou’ve been in roles where you are the “go-to” person to monitor the cloud environment and other applications for security breaches or intrusions. You’ve set up systems and software that notify you and others of intrusions and irregular system behavior. Investigate Security BreachesYou have led incident response activities to minimize the impact of a breach. This includes DDoS attacks. In interviews, you should be prepared to talk about how you overcame an attack and made changes to prevent similar attacks from happening in the future. We expect someone in this role to have led technical and forensic investigations into how an incident or breach happened and the extent of the damage.Test for VulnerabilitiesWhile you will have tools at your disposal, you are also expected to have experience in and be prepared to lead testing activities to find vulnerabilities.
