We’re looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join our Security &amp; Compliance team. The Cloud Security Engineer is responsible for managing &amp; implementing technical solutions, driving improvements, creating security standards &amp; policies, maintenance of re-usable &amp; secure solutions, and functioning as a subject matter expert on services provided to the organization.  The Cloud Security Engineer also builds and maintains strong relationships with multiple business, technical teams, and customers and ensures that the overall security strategy is aligned with both Hudl’s strategic objectives and Security &amp; Compliance charter. You’ll maintain a senior level of expertise in multiple technical domains (focused in Cloud &amp; Incident Response), perform proof-of-concept engagements, adopt forward-looking &amp; business-aligned technology platforms and expand areas of expertise as the business evolves.
Hudl has a flexible location policy. We'll leave it up to you to decide where you want to work: our Lincoln HQ, our Omaha office (preferred) or remotely within the U.S. This role is not open to remote employees in the the following states: Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, DC, Hawaii, Maine, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oregan, Rhode Island and Vermont. <li>Design secure cloud &amp; platform management standards, perform security reviews &amp; make recommendations as necessary.</li>
<li>Bring a thirst for a Shift-Left mentality. Have an understanding of SecDevOps or experience operating in a similar function.</li>
<li>Work with product, development &amp; application teams to establish, maintain &amp; automate a secure systems life-cycle that is consistent across our products.</li>
<li>Perform gap &amp; standards analysis on Hudl’s software, systems and processes, adding automation to increase effectiveness.</li>
<li>Enhance prevention, detection &amp; reactive procedures to discover, act on and remediate security incidents.</li>
<li>Work with engineering &amp; IT teams to build and maintain capabilities to proactively detect and guard against vulnerabilities.</li>
<li>Assess, prioritize and effectively communicate the severity of issues to stakeholders</li>
<li>Understand the applicability of FERPA, SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001/27002/27701:2019 and willingness to support a common control framework.</li>
