This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in building teams to manage 3rd Party Suppliers. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to learn quickly and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. 

The Role

• Lead and grow a team to manage software delivery and quality from suppliers
• Manage definition and maintenance of feature set, diagnostics, communications, and cybersecurity specifications of supplier software
• Drive decisions on test strategies with collaboration between quality assurance, validation, development, systems engineering, and product teams 
• Oversee manual/automated test cases to perform software acceptance testing
• Troubleshoot systems/sub-systems/components using lab and measurement equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters as well as tools such as Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, etc.
• Develop standards and best practices for managing supplier sourced software
• Develop metrics and audit suppliers to ensure the highest quality software delivery
• Present software and supplier status in regular executive reviews
• Support manufacturing and service teams with troubleshooting
• Identify gaps and areas for improvements and drive to a solution

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience managing teams
• Hands-on experience in testing and program management of large-scale programs & products
• Experience working with customers, suppliers or vendors to manage software delivery
• Experience with task and requirement management tools like JIRA and JAMA
• Experience with Vector and/or Peak CAN based tools

Preferred:

• Experience with software development using languages like Python, C, C++
• Knowledge of ASPICE, APQP, ISO26262, FMVSS and SAE standards and practices
• Familiarity with MATLAB

Education:

• Bachelors in the areas of Computer Science or related Engineering fields, MS preferred
