Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.Atlassian is looking for a Sr. Manager of Strategy & Planning for Customer Success & Innovation (CSI) to be part of our CSI Strategy & Operations group. You will partner directly with our Heads of pre- and post-sales functions within the Chief Revenue Office to set our strategy for building and scaling an enterprise-grade Customer Success & Innovation organization. If you want to be a protagonist in architecting the Atlassian GTM organization of the future, and help propel us to our next level of growth, we encourage you to apply. You will report directly to the Head of Strategy & Operations for Customer Success & Innovation, who manages a portfolio that includes Customer Engagement Programs, Business Operations, Delivery Technologies, Programs Delivery, CSI Learning & Development, and Strategy & Planning. You will manage an experienced team of business analysts and business strategists/consultants, guiding and establishing the rhythm of business of this group, as you all work together to achieve our shared goals and understand the performance of our business.

You will get to:

    • Develop an understanding of the markets we participate in, and create the high-level narratives of how we provide value in those markets
    • Create and use relevant frameworks to define the business architecture required for achieving our fiscal year goals, and our longer term performance targets more generally
    • Present important strategy recommendations to Atlassian's Customer Success & Innovation Sr. Leadership Team
    • Build the business rhythm for heads of the CSI Functions, including monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews to increase visibility and accountability around OKR achievement and metrics
    • Nurture a team of experienced business analysts and market strategists (i.e., segment leaders)
    • Collaborate well with a multi-functional team, including all post-sales field functions and product, marketing, sales, and finance
    • Build new methodologies and techniques to solve business problems and attain a higher level of leadership responsibilities within the team

We'll expect you to have:

    • 8+ years experience in a combination of Software/Tech industry corporate strategy, strategy consulting, or product role
    • Management experience leading a distributed team
    • Worked with leaders across multiple geographies and departments, and be proficient in business and technical discussions
    • Business sense and experience with different Go-to-Market models in the B2B SaaS space
    • Experience expressing insights, diagnosing business issues, creating projects, and building forecasts
    • Have experience framing strategic choices based on well-grounded assumptions, using logic when data or market signals are limited
    • Comfort with learning, new ideas and fast growth
CompensationAt Atlassian, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:Zone A: $163,000 - $250,000Zone B: $146,700 - $225,000Zone C: $135,300 - $207,500Within each range, base pay is determined based on your skills and experience.
