If so, our Financial Planning & Analysis team encourages you to join us in this exciting journey.As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will report to the Senior Finance Manager on the FP&A Cloud revenue team, and primarily support Cloud business leaders. You will play a key role in financial planning, become a valued partner to Cloud Product teams, and support informed business decision making and strategy execution through building robust financial models. You appreciate the mantra "work smarter, not harder" and will champion improvements to growth and operations for the Cloud business. You will also work closely with the broader finance, strategy, pricing, analytics and data infrastructure teams.This is a highly visible role in the organization with close partnership with senior business leaders across the company, ideally suited if you are passionate about developing a deep understanding of our business, have a strong financial and analytical background, and are keen to drive growth and operational improvements as a strategic finance partner.On your first day, we'll expect you to have:2-4 years of experience in a financial/analytical role in tech, consulting, or investment bankingSolid experience with financial planning and bookings/revenue forecasting, interpreting and reporting business performance resultsStrong financial modeling skills in Excel and a deep understanding of SaaS business metricsAbility to draw upon insights and tell a compelling story using data to help influence key decisionsA curiosity to learn and take initiative to solve problems independentlyStrong critical thinking, organizational, interpersonal, communication and collaboration skillsExperience working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environmentIt's great, but not required of you have:Exposure to working with planning tools (e.g., Anaplan) and finance systems (e.g., Netsuite)SQL skills and understanding of database / data warehousing conceptsKnowledge of BI tools and technologies (e.g. Tableau)Technology or Software / SaaS industry experienceHold a degree in Economics, Mathematics, or FinanceMore about our teamAtlassian has a business model, with a focus on growth and profitability, that is rare among its growth technology peers.
