The opportunity:
- We're looking for an experienced Learning & Development Specialist on a 12 month fixed term contract covering parental leave.
- This role will be responsible for developing the learning and development strategy and providing high quality client focused learning and development solutions, training support and delivery of internal training through facilitation within our Advisory business.
- The role requires both operational and strategic thinking. There is an expectation of leadership within the operations function of learning, as well as delivery of internal training through facilitation.
Day to day you will:
- Own and manage Learning and Development for our Advisory team.
- Review current learning curriculum and learning activities and ensure alignment to current and future business needs.
- Coordinate L&D programmes, sessions, projects, and events; and facilitate internal training.
- Lead Consulting’s learning academy, Matatau and Advisory’s quarterly induction programme, KickStart.
- Be responsible for the administration and maintenance of L&D databases e.g. the Global Learning Management System (GLMS), attendance sheets, intranet pages.
- Draft and send L&D comms and present at internal team meetings to showcase and encourage participation in training
What you'll bring to the team:
- At least 5 years of experience in L&D and/or OD consultant.
- Experience organising events/ training sessions and working with online platforms.
- Excellent facilitation, training and development skills.
- A sense of initiative and willingness to add value to the business.
- Ability to multi-task, plan, and manage workflow to meet deadlines.
- Excellent project management and planning/ organisation skills.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and effective interpersonal skills.
