Senior Auditor (Remote United States)

The Rackspace Technology Internal Audit team is looking for a Senior Auditor with a passion for the latest technologies to develop their career at a multi-cloud company. The Senior Auditor will play a critical role in conducting global business process and integrated audits to include, but not limited to, billing and revenue processes, third-party vendor management, corporate governance, and SOX control testing. Working with business owners across the company, communicating business and financial risk, and adapting communication to the audience will be essential in providing recommendations for improvements to business processes and controls across the company.  Demonstration of professional judgment and an understanding of performing detailed data analysis will be imperative. Location: Remote based in the United States

Responsibilities

• Complete audit projects in accounting, finance, or business operations
• Perform annual SOX control testing for Management and external auditors
• Be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and completing business processes and integrated audits
• Analyze data requiring a review of a variety of business factors to provide solutions to problems
• Interact with business owners to coordinate the audit and communicate audit findings and recommendations
• Recommend improvements for business processes and controls based on risk assessment and process evaluation
• Develop reports to communicate audit recommendations to management and the Audit Committee
• Assist with the oversight of other auditors, including reviewing work papers prepared by team members and aiding in the formal development of individual team members through coaching and continuous feedback 

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 6 - 8 years or more of related audit experience
• Strong audit knowledge, including internal controls testing, accounting, documentation techniques, and business processes
• Achieved or working towards professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CFE is preferred

This information applies only to individuals working in these states.The anticipated starting pay range for Colorado is: $75,800 - $111,210The anticipated starting pay range for the states of Hawaii and New York (not including NYC) is: $80,700 - $118,360The anticipated starting pay range for California, New York City, and Washington is: $88,400 - $129,580Unless already included in the posted pay range and based on eligibility, the role may include variable compensation in the form of bonus, commissions, or other discretionary payments. These discretionary payments are based on company and/or individual performance and may change at any time.
