The Opportunity
- We’re looking for Assistant Manager/Manager/Senior Manager to join us during a period of growth and significant change across different sectors.
- KPMG is delivering risk management services/solutions to New Zealand’s corporates/banks/insurers to make a difference and improve their businesses, helping to fuel New Zealand’s prosperity.

Day To Day You Will:
- Work as part of the Governance, Risk and Compliance Services team and as a member of the wider consulting function, you will be a key member of project and engagement teams, advising clients on:
- Pragmatic, simplified and best practice approaches to risk and compliance management;
- Evolving risk management approaches and supporting them on their journey through that change;
- Risk management frameworks/ policies/ standards, risk governance structure, risk management processes, reporting risk information to management and embedding risk culture across the organisation.
- Have the opportunity to play a key role supporting client workshops and sessions, reviewing documents, and developing written reports and client deliverables.
- Play an active role in the development of business for the team, including; supporting thought leadership, development of proposals and the identification of opportunities within client engagements
- Have a strong working knowledge of risk management functions and topical risk management issues
- Bring strong interpersonal skills to successfully engage with a variety of stakeholders and work collaboratively with the wider teams.
About You:
- Experience in risk management role (preferably in financial services sector or Line 2 Risk function);
- Knowledge of Risk and compliance frameworks, risk management and associated methodologies;
- Experience in other related areas with transferable skills and capabilities e.g operational risk experience.
- Positive and flexible attitude and an enthusiasm to embrace new challenges and growth opportunities to gain experience.
- Confident, articulate, and able to operate in an inclusive and collaborative manner.
