Responsible for small to medium-sized projects with well-defined scope requiring manageable scope control, moderate complexity, and limited risk. Projects may be concurrent or overlap.<h3>Career Level Summary</h3><ul><ul><li>General instruction on routine tasks, and detailed instruction on new assignments.</li></ul></ul><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><ul><li>Manage multiple concurrent projects with a well-defined scope, moderate complexity, and limited, contained risk exposure. </li><li>Deliver project objectives by developing and managing schedule, scope, risks, and issues. </li><li>Assess and manage project variances (e.g. schedule variance); evaluate impacts on overall project commitments, evaluate and present options, and implement approved changes. </li><li>Maintain accountability for managing expectations and ensuring quality. </li><li>Maintain accountability for providing timely communications, managing expectations, and assuring quality. </li><li>Provide tactical leadership regarding project priorities, timeline, resources, and issues. </li><li>Provide ongoing work and direction to the project team. </li><li>Provide performance feedback for team members as appropriate. </li><li>Foster knowledge exchange. </li><li>Create an environment that enhances team motivation.</li></ul></ul><h3>Knowledge</h3><ul><ul><li>Advanced English.</li><li>Proficient knowledge in managing security and compliance projects’ life cycles.</li><li>Intermediate understanding of technical concepts of software development and security – compliance. </li><li>Intermediate understanding of project management principles. </li><li>Intermediate knowledge of the project lifecycle. </li><li>Familiarity with project planning and support tools such as MS Project, Project Workbench, MS Office, and Lotus Notes. </li><li>Ability to monitor progress and status of deliverables and communicate appropriately. </li><li>Ability to capture status updates using the appropriate tools. </li><li>Ability to communicate status changes’ impact on the overall project plan/progress. </li><li>Demonstrated delivery of service meeting customer expectations. </li><li>Excellent time management, communications, decision making, presentation, human relations, and organization skills. </li><li>Ability to balance scope, tasks, schedule, quality, resources, and budget. </li><li>Practical application of accepted project lifecycle practices/methodology. </li><li>Basic understanding of the business and related technology needs. </li><li>Ability to understand critical factors and impacts surrounding issues and to make a reasonable decision. </li><li>Ability to resolve problems promptly. </li><li>Ability to meet deadlines while responding well to constant changes and resource constraints.</li></ul></ul><h3>Education</h3><ul><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in related field specialized training, or equivalent work experience</li></ul></ul><h3>Experience</h3><ul><ul><li>1-5 years of IT project management or equivalent leadership experience</li><li>Experience working with technical teams (Software development and cyber-security)</li><li>Experience working simultaneously on 3 to 5 projects.</li></ul></ul>Option to be a remote or hybrid job.
