You won’t regret it.<b>POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:</b>The<b> AV Lead Technician</b> is responsible for providing quality services and solutions to our clients while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.  You will routinely perform project-based installations and service-based repair calls at client locations. You are responsible for design, management, administration and integration of products, services, applications, and operating level systems code.  You will handle responsibilities from basic system installations to the overall architecture and design of custom solutions.  <b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</b>1.       Engineer, install and maintain new  and/or existing AV equipment.2.       Troubleshoot basic AV systems and  applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational  problems.  Escalate issues beyond  established skill set.3.       Run new low voltage cable in new or  existing client buildings.4.       Terminate, test, and troubleshoot low  voltage cabling.5.       Install and assemble racking equipment.6.       Maintain current technical knowledge  and continuously work to expand knowledge of new technology and equipment.7.       Always represent Marco in a  professional manner.8.       Perform all work in a safe manner  including but not limited to loading/unloading vehicles, lifting equipment,  climbing, etc. to protect yourself and your coworkers.  Use good judgment and give constant  attention to the work being done. 9.       Maintain parts <a href="http://inventory.10" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc" target="_blank">inventory.</a><a href="http://inventory.10" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc" target="_blank">10</a>.    Accurately maintain documentation and  comply with service administrative procedures in a timely basis to include  pick tickets, collecting client signatures and time <a href="http://entry.11" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc" target="_blank">entry.</a><a href="http://entry.11" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc" target="_blank">11</a>.    Attend required company and  departmental <a href="http://meetings.12" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc" target="_blank">meetings.</a><a href="http://meetings.12" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc" target="_blank">12</a>.    Act in accordance with Marco policies  and procedures as set forth in the employee <a href="http://handbook.Perform" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc" target="_blank">handbook.</a><h3>QUALIFICATIONS:</h3><ul><ul><li><b>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</b></li><li>Associate’s degree and four years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>Previous experience with IP networking and data technologies preferred.</li><li><b>LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS</b></li><li>Current high level industry recognized certifications including one or more of the following: QSC, CTS or CTS-I RU credit, Biamp, BSS Level 1, AV Associate Certification Program, CTI-P101 or DSP required.</li><li>Crestron certification or Crestron experience preferred.</li><li>Power Limited Technician License (if state required)Valid Driver’s License, proof of personal insurance and an acceptable driving record.</li></ul></ul><h3>REQUIRED SKILLS:</h3><ul><ul><li>Ability to perform job duties independently.</li><li>Proficiency with business collaboration  tools such as MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and Visio.</li><li>Communication – Must possess strong  communication skills in working with technical and non-technical people and  the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relations among all levels  of an organization.</li><li>Commitment - This is needed to see a  project or task from start to finish. You won’t regret it.The Senior Data Center Engineer is responsible for providing quality services and solutions to our internal clients while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.  This position works cooperatively with other teams in a coordinated effort to develop, design, implement and support Marco’s Data Centers, along with the IT environment that depends upon them.  While not a leadership position, the Senior datacenter engineer displays leadership qualities and may be called upon to lead others in certain situations.<h3>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</h3><ul><ul><li>Lead the overall design and implementation of the technology stack within the Marco Data Centers</li><li>Maintain physical access to the Marco Data Centers and be a primary contact for essential services</li><li>Perform proactive maintenance and reactive support to the equipment within the Marco Data Centers</li><li>Create and maintain documentation for all equipment within the Marco Data Center. Review and assist others with their documentation, offering constructive feedback and pointing out deviations from our policies and standards where necessary.   </li><li>Report on the health of the Marco Data Centers, perform capacity planning and proactively provide recommendations for future growth</li><li>Monitor and provide proactive recommendations for backup systems and disaster recovery processes</li><li>Review all systems and make technical/process recommendations for improving efficiency</li><li>Assist in defining standards for all systems and processes provided by the Data Center Services group</li><li>Administer and maintain a reliable, stable, secure and cost-effective hosting environment to deliver 24x7x365 operational service</li><li>Provide escalated remote technical support to Marco Data Center clients.
