If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.In this role, you are embedded within the ADAS department as a Sr. Technical Program Manager to organize and lead the ADAS systems and hardware teams and work cross-functionally with the various teams and departments at Lucid.[OM(1]  The Sr Technical Program Manager, ADAS Systems Engineering will help guide the internal ADAS teams as well as external suppliers in the development of ADAS and Autonomous Driving features for Lucid vehicles. This role is located on-site at Headquarters in Newark, Ca.

Role Responsibilities:

    • Contribute to the ADAS/AD roadmap, strategic planning, production rollout planning
    • Lead ADAS/AD system production deployments, sourcing, managing suppliers, quality management
    • Schedule and coordinate team activities including feature definition and requirements development, systems requirement development, Functional Safety deliverables, system integration and bring-up tasks and validation testing activities.
    • Support and coordinate the work of ADAS hardware development teams in the design, bringup and testing of ECUs and other compute hardware
    • Report to Executive leadership on team progress towards milestones and articulate potential program risks and resources needed to mitigate the risks
    • Manage team budget and resources to ensure on-time delivery of work products and ADAS/AD vehicle features
    • Assist with the management a fleet of prototype and series production vehicles for validation of ADAS/AD features, field operation testing, mileage accumulation and data collection
    • Manage supplier partnerships and engagement
    • Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to implement innovative solutions
    • Lead the development/adoption of processes and tools for ADAS/AD Systems Engineering at Lucid
    • Contribute to the timely delivery of fully validated, high-quality customer features
    • Work closely with other teams to ensure good communication to achieve a seamless and robust vehicle implementation

Required Qualifications:

    • BS minimum in System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science
    • At least 5 years of system engineering or system integration experience in the automotive industry
    • 2 years of program management experience or 7 years of experience in the automotive field, preferably with ADAS/AD features
    • Proven track record of bringing automotive ADAS/AD customer features into production
    • Knowledge and experience in the ADAS/AD system, software and hardware architectures and interfaces.
    • Experience designing, debugging, testing and bringing up complex hardware/software systems
    • Experience with automotive supplier interaction, specification development, project/release management, change management
    • Familiarity with the development and bringup of ADAS sensor and compute hardware designs
    • Capability and creativity to successfully complete projects with unconventional ideas in highly constrained, innovative startup environments
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Preferred Qualifications:

    • MS or PhD in System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar preferred [OM(1] 
    • 3 years of experience in related field
    • Previous project managing experience from an OEM or a Tier1 in ADAS/AD feature definition, systems engineering and validation testing
    • Previous experience with ADAS customer functions at a Tier 1 or OEM
    • Experience with ADAS compute hardware (ECU) design and bringup
    • Management of suppliers responsible for delivering sensor, camera and/or compute hardware
    • Knowledge of relevant regulations and applicable (safety) standards for typical ADAS features (e.g. ASPICE, ISO26262, FMVSS, EuroNCAP) 
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors. ·California (Bay Area) - $138,000 - $180,000 per yearAdditional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
