In this position the individual will be involved in making a vision into a reality. In this role, the individual will work Engineering Teams to build a scalable Cloud Platform, on top of variety of Cloud Providers, to offers Cloud Connectivity, Cloud Services, and Data as a Service at Lucid Motors. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. We are looking for a technically capable product manager, who is passionate about building scalable, performant, well designed platforms and core frameworks that enable many development groups to easily build consistent high-quality applications that run in the cloud without the need to know the underlying Cloud Infrastructure

The Role

    •  Be the visionary of the Cloud Platform that will enable Lucid Motors Cloud Applications and Services to run seamlessly regardless of underlying cloud infrastructure
    • Envision the technical product, Cloud Platform, and incrementally build it along with Engineering teams
    • Breakdown vision into roadmap and into iterative milestones to operate upon
    • Productize tools and solutions needed for managing the lifecycle of applications launched on the Cloud Platform and provide a single pane of glass view for all the deployments on public and private cloud infrastructure, across the globe
    • Translate customer problems into product and iteratively release functionalities and maintain customer expectations
    • Collaborate with various levels of management, business partners and other stakeholders to introduce new product ideas by articulating the value proposition
    • Using Agile Methodology, assume product owner responsibility to one or more scrum teams
    • Work with Engineering Teams to deliver milestones on-time. Assess risks, resolve conflicts, and provide technical guidance
    • Manage the product backlog and provide guidance to the team in picking right priorities and navigating through chaos
    • Build Cloud Containerization as a Service for IoT based solutions
    • Have an eye for new trends and cutting-edge technologies and influence the technical product development
    • Influence, motivate, and align people across a broad variety of job functions through your relationships
    • Understands technical implementation at the architecture level and propose technical alternatives when necessary
    • Work on Cloud such as AWS with Kubernetes as Orchestrator 

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent experience in Engineering Product Management.
    • 7+ years of experience in Program Management on technical cross-functional projects.
    • 3+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure or Cloud Platform as a Service.
    • Expert knowledge of Atlassian Jira and Confluence
    • Good understanding of Cloud Automation, DevOps, and web development technologies
    • Good understanding of underlying cloud infrastructure such AWS, Azure, GCP and on-prem, with Kubernetes Orchestration
    • Good understanding of device to cloud connectivity and familiar with Kafka, Spark, Presto, Airflow, Elastic Search, Docker, and Kubernetes on public and private Cloud Providers
    • Technical understanding of large-scale distributed systems with global deployments
    • Make data-driven decisions through metrics and reports and assess the progress periodically
    • Excellent communicator with impeccable interpersonal skills
