If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.The Lucid is currently seeking a Senior manager to be responsible for the ADAS/ AD (Autonomous Driving) Computing System Hardware engineering group. This position requires an experienced professional with a track record of successfully bringing new automotive ADAS and AD computing systems into production. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. The Role:

• Manage the ADAS/AD computing system group and lead development and production deployment of the hardware
• Contribute to the ADAS/AD computing system development roadmap, strategic planning, architecture design, production rollout planning
• Drive the concept design, prototyping, engineering, testing, release and launch of a cutting-edge compute system and related ECUs for Autonomous Driving and ADAS features 
• Lead electrical and mechanical design, deployments to production, sourcing, managing suppliers, quality management
• Manage supplier partnerships and engagements
• Drive the ADAS/AD sensors and computing system platform specifications with creative ideas together with the Electrical architecture and Body Engineering teams to bring each ADAS/AD feature to the next level providing a best in class premium experience
• Lead a rapid prototype system in quickly manner to show a proof of the concept
• Lead performance validation and evaluation of the ADAS / AD computing platform
• Contribute to the timely delivery of fully validated, high-quality customer features
• Work closely with other teams to ensure good communication to achieve a seamless and robust vehicle implementation
• Ensure that all the change management are cataloged, and designs are released on time 

Qualification:

• 3 years of managing experience or 10 years engineering experience, ideally in the automotive field
• 6+ years of experience with bringing automotive computing system and ECU design into production
• Demonstrated experience as a visionary, yet detail oriented automotive ECU hardware engineer 
• Strong communication in verbal and written format 
• Knowledge of applicable safety standards including ISO 26262, FMEA
• Profound knowledge of ADAS and/or Autonomous Driving systems and demonstrated track record of technical excellence 
• Strong knowledge of state-of-the-art computing system and algorithms for interfaces required for sensors, actuators, firmware development, in-vehicle bus architectures, in-vehicle CPU/GPU computing platforms 
• Deep expertise in creating safe and efficient system architectures and complex hardware-software systems including knowledge of middleware implementation and testing 
• At Least 4 years of managing automotive Tier 1 project relationships and sourcing sensor / hardware systems 
• Experience in component and system integration, testing and verification on system and vehicle level 

Advantageous:

• Previous managing experience from automotive fields
• Previous experience with ECU design and production
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and applicable (safety) standards for typical ADAS features (e.g. ASPICE, ISO26262, FMVSS, EuroNCAP)

Educational:

• BS minimum in the areas of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or other related fields
• Higher degree strongly preferred
