Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.Your future teamAtlassian’s Customer Success and Innovation (CSI) team is looking for a Senior Technical Content Developer responsible for consulting on and developing engaging content for our service delivery teams. You will work with subject matter experts to define course and resource requirements, write learning objectives, and manage the buildout of learning experiences in many formats, including articles/SOP/process documentation, eLearning, instructor-led training, and more. You will report to the Manager of Learning and Development for CSI. The role is remote-friendly with a 4-hour working overlap to the US Central time zone.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Transform technical content so it is more consumable and easy to understand, striking the right balance between approachability, specificity, and conciseness while maintaining the Atlassian voice of “practical, with a wink”
- Develop new ways of applying Atlassian’s internal AI mechanisms to support the development and distribution of learning content
- Consult on and build engaging, informational, and visually compelling technical learning experiences across multiple delivery media, including written content and processes, in-person training, virtual training, e-learning, and other strategies that scales and resonates with our global audience
- Scope and run multiple concurrent projects within a prioritized backlog
Your background
- 6+ years of instructional design experience, at least 2 of which were for a SaaS company
- 2+ years of experience managing the development of large, multi-stakeholder learning programs with multiple delivery modalities
- 2+ years of experience with at least one product from the Atlassian tech stack or similar technical products
CompensationAt Atlassian, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:Zone A: $135,000 - $207,000Zone B: $121,500 - $186,300Zone C: $112,000 - $171,900Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience.
