Our diverse team includes individuals from technology, legal, and consulting industries and functional experts in People Operations, Real Estate, Communications, Compliance, Program Management, Product and Strategy and Operations.As a Senior Strategy Manager, Team Anywhere, you will guide Atlassian's transformation into a distributed-first organization. You will work with partners from across the business using creativity, insights and accountability to bring Atlassian's distributed work strategy to life.You will support an organizational transformation and shape the "future of work" and have exposure to leaders across HR, Recruiting, Learning & Development, Compensation and Total Rewards, People Analytics, HR Systems, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, HR Business Partners, Legal, Tax, Finance and more.This is a remote position. To help our teams work together effectively, this role requires you to be located in the United States Pacific or Mountain Time Zones and will report directly to the Head of Operations, Team Anywhere.
What you'll do
- Deliver important projects that bring Atlassian's distributed work strategy to life from brainstorming through completion
- Partner with departments across the business as an embedded Team Anywhere collaborator to implement distributed work strategies in their domains
- Develop distributed work processes to navigate regulatory, legal, tax, compliance, and risk issues at scale with our partners across Workplace Experience, Real Estate and Design, HR, Recruiting, Legal, Global Mobility and more
- Implement tools, internal metrics, feedback loops, and analytical rigor to monitor success of projects
- Advise/coach/educate managers and leaders as they support distributed work and teams
Your background
- 8+ years of consulting experience in management, strategy or human capital/organization consulting, or commensurate ‘in-house’ experience at a large organization with a focus on strategy, operations and change management
- Experience with hypothesis-driven business analytics and proficiency with Microsoft Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets and perform complex functions) or other data and analysis tools
- Success with communicating insights to executives through memo, PowerPoint/Google Slides and presentation
- Storytelling skills that create understanding and organizational support for change management programs
- Experience building and sustaining complex relationships, leading through influence across all levels of the business — including executive-level partners — and bringing strategies to life with and through partners
- Familiarity developing and leading a strategy and implementing complex multi-quarter projects or enterprise-wide programs
- Must be located in PST
CompensationAt Atlassian, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:Zone A: $152,200 - $233,500 Zone B: $137,000 - $210,200Zone C: $126,300 - $193,800Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience.
