Senior Contracts Manager

Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.We're looking for a Sr. Contracts Manager to join our Procurement Team. We are looking for someone who has an attention for detail and experience negotiating supplier contracts. You will report to the Head of Procurement Contracting. You will build relationships and participate in worldwide contract management with our business owners and suppliers. You will be a trusted partner to Procurement Sourcing colleagues and internal customers providing practical contractual guidance, identification of contractual risks and excellence in drafting contracts.This is a fully remote position.

What you'll do

• Draft and negotiate a broad range of inbound supplier contracts, with emphasis on SaaS, IT and professional services.
• Guide business teams on the contracting process.
• Analyze use cases with business owners to choose appropriate contract forms.
• Work with the Atlassian Legal team to assess contract issues.
• Contribute to contract process improvement, documentation and reporting projects.
• Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally.

Your background

• At least 5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating supplier contracts.
• BA or BS (J.D., CIPP-E/US certification is a plus, but not required).
• Familiarity with data privacy requirements.
• You have a history of building agreement among business owners and suppliers and persuading suppliers to accept your company's legal terms.
• You have experience explaining legal, risk and business impacts to contract language.

It's great, but not required, if you have:

• 5+ years as a contracts manager, or other comparable experience within a corporate legal or Procurement department.
• Experience working with Confluence, JIRA, Coupa

CompensationAt Atlassian, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:Zone A: $120,000 - $184,000Zone B: $108,000 - $165,600Zone C: $99,600 - $152,800Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience.
