This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in establishing requirements management systems and driving best practices for complex, safety-critical systems. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to learn quickly and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. 

The Role:

• Define and implement a layered, comprehensive requirements management system covering vehicle, feature, system, and component requirements
• Standardize requirements management across functional areas and domains, incl. product management, homologation and regulations, system, software, hardware, safety, security, manufacturing, etc
• Ensure traceability between requirements and other product development lifecycle artifacts, e.g. architecture & design, verification & validation, change requests, …
• Ensure that the requirements management system and processes meet applicable standards (ASPICE, ISO26262)
• Evangelize requirements management throughout the organization and provide training in best practices
• Participate in requirements reviews and continuously monitor and drive requirements and traceability gaps to closure
• Align requirements management deliverables with program milestones and software release schedules
• Work with quality assurance and process engineering to define and document requirements management processes and KPIs

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in requirements management of complex, safety-critical systems
• Proven track record of driving an organization towards consistency and standardization
• Experience with waterfall and agile requirements management
• Experience with requirements management tools and techniques (JAMA, DOORS, etc.)

Preferred:

• Experience with requirements management for industry and automotive standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, homologation, localization, …)
• Requirements Engineering in the automotive space
• Formal training and certification in requirements management (IREB, REQB, …)

Education:

• BS minimum in the areas of Computer Science or related fields, MS preferred
