Have you led DevOps or Infrastructure teams? Are you a former engineer with experience across a broad array of technologies related to security and technology automation? Have you been in a senior technical leadership role regularly engaging with both business and IT executives? Do you understand and apply security leading practices? We think you're one of us. We're looking for an accomplished Technical Leader with demonstrated success in designing, deploying and maintaining complex, highly performant environments. We also need someone with strong interpersonal, technical and leadership skills to make our clients happy through a highly collaborative team environment. You will join a team of highly skilled and experienced DevOps and Security professionals who work with the latest tools, technologies, and industry leading practices.
How you will make an impact:
- Advise clients on leading practices and provide deep subject matter expertise in a broad range of security and automation related fields (e.g. Security, DevOps, Container Security, Infrastructure-as-Code, Secrets Management)
- Assess existing and target state architecture and supporting business processes to assist clients in designing and developing DevSecOps frameworks, policies, and solution architecture, in line with industry leading practices
- Provide recommendations on suitable DevOps tooling and related solutions (e.g. DevOps, infrastructure-as-code, container and network security, secrets management) based on client needs
- Advise clients on Container Security and support deployment of containerized environments using Kubernetes and related solutions
- Design, deliver, and manage consulting engagements with clients large and small, across every industry
- Lead project teams of consultants to successfully deliver outcomes for clients, including mentoring and assistance with upskilling
- Create professional client deliverables to clearly present recommendations and strategies using compelling formats including dashboards, presentations, and documentation
- Continuous learning and upskilling on relevant technology products and methodologies, leveraging training resources provided
- Support with practice and business development activities such as interviews, training, IP development, and scoping for client engagements
Qualifications and experience:
- A College degree or/equivalent and 8+ years of related work experience, required
- Ability to review and understand complex client technologies and architectures to justify use of interchangeable product solutions to deliver the best possible client outcomes
- Ability to compare and contrast the vast array of security and automation technologies in order to provide perspective on suitable client solutions
- Experience building and deploying enterprise-grade infrastructure and applications using Continuous Integration and Delivery techniques
- Experience architecting solutions within Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with common cloud-native role-based access control mechanisms and how they integrate with common SAML solutions (e.g. IAM, Azure Active Directory, etc.)
- Experience securing infrastructure and security configuration management using common third-party and cloud-native security tools (e.g. Prisma Cloud, AWS Security Hub, Microsoft Defender)
- Experience securing and deploying Kubernetes-based environments, preferably using and administering relevant platforms (e.g. EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift, etc.)
- Proficiency in scripting programming languages – e.g. Python, JSON, Ruby, C#, Powershell, YAML
- Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and configuration management (e.g. Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, Cloud formation, Terraform, Ansible)
- Extensive experience with Agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, CI/CD
- Effectively applies knowledge and skills of software development and testing to solve a range of problems
- Familiar with common enterprise-wide logging architectures for both infrastructure, security, and application logs
- Working knowledge of common and industry standard cloud-native/cloud-friendly authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, etc)
- Experience with service-oriented architecture for cloud-based services
- Experience working with cloud security and governance tools, cloud access security brokers (CASBs)
- Experience representing technical viewpoints to diverse audiences and making timely and prudent technical risk decisions
- Experience with enterprise architecture and working as part of a cross-functional team to implement solutions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction; self-starter/self-motivated
- Professional level technical writing experience
