How you’ll make an impact:
- Work with business and service account leaders to define and document requirements related to existing business processes as well as strategic technology transformation initiatives
- Work closely with Optiv Sales teams to deliver high quality, and value-add reviews of potential opportunities
- Individual contributor acting as a quality and risk management leader
- Oversee tasks and analyses, and provide insights on projects related to quality and risk management, possessing an overall understanding of appropriate business processes and workflows
- Work with sales and delivery teams to evaluate engagement objectives and review risks inherent in the engagement
- Provide constructive on-the-job feedback and coaching to team members
- Deliver effective reviews based on a thorough understanding of cyber security architectures and technology and ability to effectively apply it to client situations and environments
- Use extensive knowledge of the client's business and industry to identify technological developments and evaluate impacts on the client's business
- Perform project management and team leadership, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services
- Understand Optiv and its service lines and actively assess what Optiv can deliver to serve clients
- Understand the quality and risk management requirements clearly and plan for effective utilization of resources, managing the change requests and risk planning, etc.
- Coordinate and contribute to the development of learning materials, new and experienced hire QRM professionals onboarding requirements
- Develop, present, and socialize recommendations for issue remediation and process improvements, capture feedback for evaluation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and related work experience in cybersecurity services
- 7+ years working in a consulting role and delivering cybersecurity services onsite at client locations
- Knowledge of general security concepts and methods such as vulnerability assessments, data classification, privacy assessments, incident response, security policy creation, enterprise security strategies, architectures, and governance
- Broad knowledge of technology trends, relevance to client's businesses, and market impacts
- Superb business acumen, project management expertise, and understanding of the Services organization as a whole
- Demonstrated ability to create comprehensive assessment reports
- Must be able to work well with business leaders and self-manage through difficult situations, focus on client satisfaction
- Ability to convey complex technical security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences including executives
- Ability to work both independently as well as on teams
- Ability to lead and mentor others; willingness to collaborate and share knowledge with team members
- Experienced at writing technical proposals, statements of work, white papers, presentations, and project documentation; strong attention to detail
- The successful candidate must hold professional certifications such as the CISSP, CISM, and/or CISA
