The role has two main functions across the various Middle East Crisis and Security Consulting team practices:1. Support the resourcing and delivery of executive protection services2. Support security risk consulting fee earning activity
Role tasks and responsibilities
Consulting:
Undertaking fee earning consultancy supporting the CSC consulting team on various different types of assignments - these include:
Coordination and delivery of executive protective services
Delivery of security audits, risk assessments and security site reviews
Security planning support – development of plans required by clients, such as journey management, crisis and emergency response
Support the delivery of security awareness training.
Client liaison, including face-to-face briefings on security related topics
Complete formal and on the job training to develop competency across various fields of the Crisis and Security Consulting team skillset listed above. Control Risks will sponsor attendance of the BTEC Level 5 Risks and Resilience Manager Course.
Operations management:
Coordination and deployment of consultants and subcontractors for allocated tasks with appropriate operational orders, contracts, insurance, personal and medical documents (as per country and contract related division)
Ensure correct balance of expertise is available for task allocation in coordination with line management direction
Monitoring of operational deployments and maintenance of regular contact with deployed consultants
Support administrative arrangements for projects including business systems, invoicing and payments
Support the resourcing and recruitment of potential new consultants in conjunction with the senior operations manager and the HR department
Assessment and review of all subcontractors in line with policies and directives
Commercial management:
Development of executive protection proposal and reports
Provision of subject matter input to proposal and tender responses
Negotiation with third parties for services required
Collaboration, professionalism and excellence:
Regular liaison with other key Control Risk departments and offices
Help to promote all of Control Risks’ expertise to prospects and clients
Reinforce a spirit of innovation by generating new ideas for the enhancement of services and creation of efficiencies

Exposure to, or delivery of, security risk consulting
Advanced computer literacy (MS Office incl. Visio, MS Project)
Excellent report and proposal writing skills
Excellent written and oral presentation skills with proven ability to participate in speaking engagements
Strong administrative skills
Project management skills
Ability to liaise with and build successful relationships with both clients and across departmental lines
Degree from recognised university and / or armed forces)
Ability to assimilate large quantities of new information
