Find out more about our <a href="https://www.sugarcrm.com/careers/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc" target="_blank">SugarCRM careers </a>and how you can become a part of our journey. SugarCRM has an immediate need for a temporary employee with 3+ years of experience as an Information Security Analyst.·       Length of assignment: 3-6 months, 40 hours per week·       Location:  U.S. - Home Based The Security Analyst Temp is tasked with creating and certifying defense in depth for SugarCRM. The Security Analyst Temp will employ their technical security skills to build/deploy key infrastructure security tools, respond to escalated security alerts, provide enterprise risk assessment, vulnerability remediation, and provide a source of security consultation and expertise for the business. The Security Analyst Temp will have, but is not limited to, the following roles and responsibilities:
<h3>Impact you will make in the role:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Maintain existing security controls and ensure compliance with targeted security and privacy frameworks</li><li>Record, monitor, report and organize the remediation of any security incidents</li><li>Detect, record, report and monitor emerging security threats or reported vulnerabilities and ensure mitigating actions are taken</li><li>First responder to security event reports via email, phone and ticket</li><li>Perform intrusion detection and escalation using technology</li><li>Assist in remediation of information security incidents, document and communicate findings</li><li>Maintain knowledge of information security policies and goals</li><li>Keep current on the current information security threat landscape and upcoming trends in security</li><li>Research, scope out and guide the implementation of new controls to enhance the organizations security posture</li></ul>
<h3>What you will need to succeed:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience (2+ years)</li><li>1 year of security experience required, 3 preferred</li><li>Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows OS, network security, web application security fundamentals</li><li>Ability to manage parallel tasks and accurately document resolutions</li><li>Basic troubleshooting skills</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li></ul>Location:  U.S. Home Based / RemoteWe understand that no candidate is perfectly qualified for any job.
