This position will require high voltage testing on the power electronics devices, power supplies and electrical loads. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
The Role
- Perform high voltage test on the power electronics devices, power supplies and electrical loads.
- Drive the vehicle and perform the vehicle charging test for software release test, regression test and interoperability test.
- Work with other in-house stakeholders and EVSE manufacture for charging test and validation.
You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree with computer science, mechanical, electrical or electronics engineering.
- Experience with high voltage system or power electronics and can perform the electrical test according to the requirement.
- Be comfortable to travel in the US and overseas for charging validation and test. (25%)
- Keen to the details and be able to make test plan to conduct the software release test, regression test and interoperability test.
- Experience in using vector tools, canape, canalyzer, ethernet sniffing tools.
- Communicate with software developer for troubleshooting and debugging.
- Write test reports and document them in the confluence and Jama.
- Knowledge about high voltage safety and product safety concepts.
Bonus:- Be familiar with software development cycle: requirement capture, system level test and validation. Ideally, experience in using Jama, Jira and Confluence.
- Knowledge about tableau for data capture and data analysis.
- Knowledge of vehicle charging system and charging standards, such as J1772 and ISO 15118 is a bonus.
- Experience in PLC communication protocols by using sniffers for debugging and troubleshooting.
- Be able to understand MATLAB Simulink state-flow diagram, schematics and C code.
