This position requires a multitalented professional with a diverse background in program management and vehicle testing or validation. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to learn quickly and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

    • Responsible for managing and testing charging features globally
    • Managing overall charging feature software development and testing plan by working with cross-functional teams
    • Supporting validation team in conducting AC/DC charging tests
    • Working with validation team internally in sorting out adequate resources as per needs
    • Fosters strong cross-dimensional partnerships and is able to effectively prioritize demands to meet project deadlines
    • Collaborating with cross-functional system engineering teams, product teams for new charging feature requirements
    • Ensuring proper closure of all Jiras by documentation of root cause analysis
    • Handling weekly meetings with Lucid teams internally and ChargePoint operators externally about progress of issues and their software deliveries
    • Communicating risks in a timely manner

Qualifications:

    • BS or MS in Software/Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.  Master’s degree preferred
    • 2+ years in program management of automotive software and electronics development
    • Experience in EV charging systems validation
    • Experience in building and leading product development teams, specifically of multi-discipline program managers and engineers
    • Experience with software verification, validation and integration processes
    • Knowledge about charging standards
    • Ability to quickly comprehend complex problems and effectively facilitate the team to a decision and coordinate the action plan.

Preferred:

    • Project Management training. PMP certificate preferred
    • Solid root-cause analysis sense with the ability to correlate e.g. product architecture modifications to technical changes.
    • Capable of working in a fast paced development environment
    • Excellent communications skills
    • Experience with Atlassian Software (JIRA, Confluence), Smartsheet and Jama
