If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.We are currently seeking a Sr. Systems Requirements Engineer with a focus on Requirements Development & Management and Process Development within our Fleet Health Management (FHM) Team. You will work with the FHM Team to extract and establish system requirements for current and future products. You will own establishing requirements with program management to ensure we have the appropriate sensing and compute power that will enable Lucid to monitor the health of all major components and systems in future product lines. This role will hold teams accountable for completing FMEAs and transferring design and test knowledge that will be used to create a comprehensive Health Monitoring System (HMS).
The Role:
- Establish and lead the Systems Engineering Integration efforts to capture, derive and decompose requirements for a multi-domain system.
- Establish and lead software-hardware requirement and process definition of new and existing products and through the product lifecycle
- Work closely with Technical and Subject Matter Experts to ensure accurate and complete requirement coverage.
- Develop metrics to track progress.
- Represent the FHM team in FMEA activities.
- Work in a multi program environment.
- Report present outcomes and progress on a frequent basis.
- Identify gaps and implement solutions.
- Manage cases and requirements in Jira and Jama.
- Engage in the verification and validation of new models, tools, and products.
Qualifications:
- Possess a thorough knowledge of Automotive Systems Design.
- 5+ years of Automotive experience in Requirements management.
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Engineering, Data, or relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience with Requirements/Case Management tools, such as Doors, Jama, Jira, or similar.
- Data analytics experience.
- Software development experience is preferred.
- Ability to work and communicate with technical and subject matter expert engineers to derive and capture requirements across the business.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently on assignments to foster continuous improvement of team functions and deliverables.
- Experience across all phases of the program development lifecycle, from capture through design, implementation, and test.
- Experienced with FMEAs, ASPICE, SCRUM/AGILE.
- Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to lead process, requirements/test case effort.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.· California (Bay Area) - $127,000 - $181,500Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
