You will own process, requirement/test case roadmap for the Diagnostics Team by working closely with cross-functional engineers.
The Role:
- Lead the Mission and Systems Engineering Integration efforts to capture, derive and decompose requirements for a multi-domain system
- Lead software-hardware requirement and process definition of new and existing products and through the product lifecycle
- Define, configure tools and processes as required to achieve highest quality for tasks
- Work closely with Technical and Subject Matter Experts to ensure accurate and complete requirement-test case coverage
- Develop metrics to track progress
- Lead FMEA activities
- Work in a multi-program environment
- Track present outcomes and progress on a frequent basis
- Identify gaps and implement solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Systems Engineering or relevant field
- 5+ years of Automotive experience in Requirements management
- Possess a thorough knowledge of Automotive Systems Design
- Demonstrated experience with Requirements/Test Case Management tools, such as Doors, Jama, Jira, or similar
- Ability to work and communicate with technical and specialty subject matter expert engineers to derive and capture requirements across a system of systems
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently on assignments to foster continuous improvement of team functions and deliverables
- Experience across all phases of the program development lifecycle, from capture through design, implementation, and test
- Experienced with FMEAs, ASPICE, SCRUM/AGILE
- Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to lead process, requirements/test case effort
