This position requires an experienced professional with a background in web development. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. 

The Role:

• Design and develop a stand-alone internal facing web application to collect and visualize data 
• Design, build and maintain website and software applications using Kubernetes
• Use authoring, management, and content creation tools, applications, and digital media
• Draft, review, and maintain requirements/specifications and test cases. Work closely with Systems engineers, Software developers and Test engineers to ensure web applications implemented and tested as per Lucid’s standards
• Synchronize requirements and use cases with internal teams to create content criteria and control flow
• Develop and deploy web applications in a cross-platform, cross-browser environment
• Use the latest web application techniques and programming practices
• Review technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Establishing reusable code, libraries, and patterns
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Ensure complete coverage between implementation, requirements, and test cases. Evaluate gaps in systems processes and implement solutions
• Report status updates on a regular basis  
• Support production operations and provide engineering-level insight on platform issues

Qualifications:

• Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications
• 3-5 years of experience in building websites using Docker Tools 
• Experience with Node.js, Vue.js, and React framework
• Experience in data visualizations using D3.js 
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, Go, Python, MySQL
• Familiarity with web development and debugging tools, docker
• Participate in agile and scrum best practices as we strive for continuous integration and delivery (CI-CD) 
• Knowledgeable of REST-based API-s 
• Experience with Kubernetes 
• Experience with SSO Authentication
• Knowledge of cloud-based development
• Understanding of cloud-based development and deployment
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and organization skills, and dedication to quality 
• Attention to detail and an appreciation for design and beautiful UX Desired Experience
