The Role:

    • Help build the prognostic system that will be used to manage the entire lifecycle of a vehicle.
    • Own the development of analytics from a technical perspective by becoming an expert on vehicle architecture and understanding how to apply data solutions to analyze vehicle issues and performance.
    • Work closely with engineering and the development team to create and validate alerts that will be used for remotely monitoring vehicle issues.
    • Understand the serviceability of specific systems and failures to build optimal solutions.
    • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on vehicle trend analysis and health monitoring.
    • Drive the evolution of the maintenance from reactive to predictive.
    • Effective communicator that can present results and maintain relevant timelines with leadership, project managers, and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
    • Draft, review, and maintain training materials in consultation with SMEs.
    • Resolve critical issues as they arise by coordinating with cross functional teams.
    • Troubleshoot data issues.
    • Be creative in your design – abstraction is critical.

Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree in an Engineering, Data Science or related fields with 5+ years of experience in Engineering, Technology, or Data related fields, or PhD degree with 3+ years of experience.
    • Proficiency in building diagnostics & prognostics models, predictive analytics tools and methods
    • Proficiency in programming in SQL & Python for analytics, data science, and their applications.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical information.
    • Have worked in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience in process and project development within a cross functional team.
    • Experience in training and onboarding new team members.
    • Software development experience is a plus.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors. ·       California (Bay Area) - $127,000 - $181,500 Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
