This position requires an experienced professional with a background in building and maintaining Android Simulator extensions. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

The Role

• Support Android Developers by maintaining simulator and development test systems for an AOSP Automotive product
• Experience with customizing Android Simulators
• Experience with multi-screen android development
• Experience with packaging and distributing applications for quick and easy installation

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5+ years of industry experience in Android development, and proven industry experience of shipping Android software products.
• Experience with Embedded Android, AOSP, Android frameworks or Android HAL
• Domain knowledge and experience of software development on the Android system, and have worked with multiple area of Android SDK.
• Experience with software design and architecture of components in complex system
• Proficiency in C++ and Java programming to write clean and well structured code.
• Experience with IDEs, source code management, unit testing, code review, issue tracking, and performance analysis tools.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively.
• Undergraduate Degree in EE, CS, or equivalent work experience
