We are currently seeking a Skillbridge Intern to join our consulting team.  Eligible to begin SkillBridge between February - April 2023 for a minimum of four months.  The successful candidate will learn and develop skills to deliver Elastic solutions to customers!

If you have experience working in roles as a Security Engineer,  Software Engineer, System Administrator,  DevOps Engineer or have used the Elastic Stack to enable security analytics processes, and want to work cross functionally with product and sales, then please apply and meet our team!

What skills you will be focusing on during the internship:

• Solution design, development, and integration of Elastic products, platform architecture, and capacity planning in mission-critical environments
• Relationship building, and communications skills
• How to work remotely in a highly distributed team
• Development of demos and proof-of-concepts that highlight the value of the Elastic Stack
• Data modeling, query development and optimization, cluster tuning and scaling with a focus on fast search and analytics at scale
• How to engage with sales team to scope opportunities while assessing technical risks, questions, or concerns

What you bring along or have a foundation to build upon!

• Experience as a Software Engineer, System Administrator, or DevOps Engineer
• Current Active Military eligible for Skills Bridge 
• Commuting distance to D.C preferred
• Experience as a technical instructor or public speaker to large audiences on enterprise infrastructure software technology to engineers, developers, and other technical positions
• experience with large distributed systems from an architecture and development perspective
• Knowledge of information retrieval and/or analytics domain
• Elastic or similar technology experience
