99.99% uptime target. The code you write and deploy into production will directly contribute to the scalability and resilience of Trello, and you will directly improve our user's experience with the
product.You will report directly to the Engineering Manager.
On your first day, you will have expertise in
- 3+ years experience operating high-availability, fault-tolerant, scalable, distributed software in production: building monitoring, tweaking dashboards, defining alerts, writing runbooks, etc.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with public cloud offerings such as AWS,GCP or Azure
- Engineering microservices and tools across one or more programming languages (e.g. Go, Python,Bash)
- Automation and Infrastructure-as-Code projects and tooling (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Terraform)
- Build and maintain a continuous integration and delivery pipeline (e.g. Bamboo, Bitbucket Pipelines, Github Actions)
- Implement and maintain robust monitoring, alerting and logging systems to proactively detect and resolve issues.
- Design and Deliver AWS cloud-native infrastructure solutions
- Familiarity with Incident management, post-incident analysis and participation in on-call rotation
- Focus on operational maturity and reliability with microservices
CompensationAt Atlassian, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:Zone A: $160,320 - $245,842Zone B: $144,228 - $221,242Zone C: $133,066 - $204,034Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience.
