As a Simulation and Emulation Architect, you will play a crucial role in advancing the development of new vehicles Infotainment and other electronic control units (ECUs) by designing and implementing effective simulation and emulation strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate potential simulation and emulation solutions, ensuring that these strategies align with the overall software development and hardware bring-up processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in accelerating the development cycle and optimizing the performance of new infotainment and ECU systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop simulation and emulation architectures for vehicles' infotainment and other ECUs
• Evaluate and select appropriate simulation and emulation tools and methodologies
• Integrate simulation and emulation environments into the overall software development and hardware bring-up processes
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define and implement simulation and emulation test cases
• Analyze and interpret simulation and emulation results to identify and resolve design issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest simulation and emulation technologies and trends
• Develop and maintain documentation for simulation and emulation processes

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on simulation and emulation
• Extensive experience with simulation and emulation tools and methodologies
• Effective understanding of software development and hardware bring-up processes
• Effective communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of Hardware architecture and schematics
• Experience with simulation and emulation of specific infotainment or ECU systems
• Experience developing real-time simulation and emulation environments
• Automotive System Experience
• Ability to work independently and mentor technical leads on complex problems

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.·       California (Bay Area) - $177,000 - $230,000/yrAdditional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
