This is a great opportunity for an established developer to rapidly accelerate their career progression. You will be involved primarily in the implementation stage (post-sales) of Rackspace’s ServiceNow & ITSM consulting services and solutions. You will deliver ServiceNow solution roadmaps, architectures and lead major ServiceNow implementations, customizations and integrations projects.

Key Accountabilities

• Design and deliver creative ServiceNow solutions across verticals
• Identify and document business challenges and opportunities and suggest solutions addressing those
• Work in a client facing environment and be able to convey complex technical concepts in business terms
• Be the Technical Lead and subject matter expert on ServiceNow engagements
• Assist (pre-) sales staff in qualifying leads and generating proposals
• Demonstrate an understanding of business drivers and how they influence service design 
• Create and maintain system-related documentation
• Manage task-level budget/scope to ensure client success and project profitability 
• Research new technologies and stay abreast of new products and services. Apply these solutions as part of the service delivery continuous improvement mission 
• Accurately predict the time required to complete development tasks; adhering closely to development plans; anticipating changes to a product specification or schedule as they become necessary during a development cycle 
• Ensure timely delivery of committed services with a consideration of customer satisfaction
• Validate the development and configuration work to ensure it meets the project’s criteria
• Experience in creating process and business flow diagrams, use cases, storyboards, and training documents
• Experience in working with both agile and waterfall methodologies
• Object-oriented programming design

Key Performance Indicators

• ServiceNow application and integration design and configuration skills
• Delivers architectures, product solutions, working prototypes, production ready systems, and provides guidance for complex solutions that enables Rackspace ITSM & ServiceNow Solutions Sales, Delivery and Support teams to maximize speed to market deliveries and align with customer expectations
• Assists in defining our end-to-end product offerings including definition, design, build, deployment and high-level support
• Ensures major product architectural designs are secure, maintainable, flexible and cost-effective solutions
• Solves complex problems and takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions
• Decisions impact the achievement of customer, operational, program or service objectives
• Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles
• Leads others to solve issues of diverse scope where analysis requires an understanding of current business and government trends
• Uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions
• Promotes sharing of expertise through consulting, presentation, and documentation
• Continuously validates solutions against additional mandates, as developed, to ensure full compliance
• Works independently, with guidance in complex situations only
• Experience in designing, implementing and managing a multi developer and multi project environment(s)
• Able to act as mentor for less experienced team members

Required Knowledge/Skills

• ServiceNow certified (to a high level)
• Proven track record of ServiceNow implementations on Enterprise level
• Ability to configure ServiceNow applications in alignment with approved design plans
• Knowledge of ServiceNow front-end application configuration
• Experienced in ServiceNow project delivery with Agile Methodology
• IT service management experience
• Industry business acumen
• Solves complex problems and takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions

• Validate the development and configuration work to ensure it meets the project’s criteria
