- What you'll be working on
- As a member of the Network, Identity and Security team you will design, implement, and maintain core network and identity server infrastructure at scale, in a cloud first environment.
- Initially the main focus will be:
- Managing and maintain monitoring and logging platforms (LogicMonitor/Splunk)
- Supporting and maintain our identity infrastructure (Active Directory, Idaptive)
- Review and patch software and firmware on a weekly basis.
- Build, support and maintain internal PKI services for Atlassian systems
- Continue to automate and migrate services to AWS using tools such as Python, Cloudformation and Ansible.
- Assist in building / relocating and expanding our global offices
- Perform backup, failover and redundancy testing
- Assist with audit and compliance activities
What you'll be working on:

On your first day, we will expect you to have:
- A passion for problem solving and an ability to find technical solutions to business problems
- Strong documentation skills to create run-books and as-built documentation.
- Solid experience in hands-on infrastructure - preferably in a fast growing environment
- Extensive experience managing a wide variety of platforms such as Active Directory, Linux, AWS, VMware and Cisco infrastructure, with a particular focus on automation.
- Strong proficiency with LAN based services (DNS, DHCP, NTP and IP)
- Experience with identifying useful metrics, meeting benchmarks, and working with service level agreements (SLAs) with your team
- A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
- Extensive experience with automation and tooling (Python, Ansible, Bash, Git, PowerShell)
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification
