Senior SRE Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Develop and improve production Kubernetes clusters. Maintain and improve the existing systems. Use principles of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code to bring up systems to a new level. Use public clouds to expand the abilities of our current processes. Research new ways of automation and create flexible and reliable products. Build automation culture, sharing experience, coaching and bringing ideas to DCO, Quality Assurance, Development teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus three (3) years of related information technology experience. Experience must include:
• Three (3) years in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
  • Experience as a System Administrator or DevOps/SRE Engineer
  • Linux administration
• Two (2) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
  • Automation development
  • Python development
• One (1) year in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
  • Kubernetes/Docker/Helm development and maintenance skill
  • Principles of CI/CD
  • Public and hybrid clouds
  • Technical leadership
  • Leading projects from a technical side

TELECOMMUTING: Position is fixed location based in Tempe, AZ; however, telecommuting is allowed up to 3 days per week.
