If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.Role Responsibility:• Troubleshoot, investigate and isolate issues on the Telematics Control Unit.• Write test cases and test plans, document test results, and author detailed test results.• Identify, document, and aid in the root causing of bugs encountered while testing.• Collaborate with Engineering and Validation team to resolve issues.• Identify, develop, and implement methods to automate and streamline testing.• Carry out reliability testing and in-use performance evaluation of the diagnostic system.• Take ownership of process improvement for issue mitigation.• Collaborate with different teams such as Cloud, Powertrain, Data Science etc to realize the project.
**This role is on-site at our Newark, CA location**Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor in the areas of Computer Science, Computer engineering, Electrical engineering
- 4+ years of industry experience
- Experience of writing Software in C/C++ & Shell Scripts
- Experience in debugging and investigating embedded system related issues.
- Understanding of Linux OS Fundamentals and IPC Mechanisms
- Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols (CAN, DoIP, ETH, LIN, etc.).
- Effective at troubleshooting and root causing issues in complex systems.
- Experience with scripting languages/tools and methods to optimize SW development and testing activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters in the areas of Computer Science, Computer engineering, Electrical engineering
- Understanding of Circuit Design, & Automotive Wire-Harness is a plus.
- Knowledge of Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) is a plus
- Knowledge Diagnostics-over-IP (DoIP) is a plus.
